Talking Hands

This morning Chloe was in our bed and we were all talking and playing around. Chloe went and got a water bottle, sat on the bed and opened it. After she had taken the cap off, she started telling us about something. When Chloe talks and gets really excited, she is very animated and uses her hands to talk. Not a smart thing to do with a water bottle resting against her legs. So I told her to take a drink then talk. She drank some water and replaced the cap. I told her then it was ok to talk with her hands. She said, "Mommy, my hands don't talk." Then she jumped off the bed and said, "Wait, maybe they can." She crouched down at the foot of the bed and began to give us a "puppet" show (without the puppets)- she made her hands "talk!"
