I know, I'm posting again! But I wanted to get this down before I forgot it. It's just a few cute tidbits about Logan. I haven't been feeling good lately but he has definately brought a smile to my face!
Every once in a while Logan will wake up around 8:30pm and want to be out of his bed. Last night was one of those nights. Occasionally I will get him out and let him stay up with me. Jeremy was planning on going to bed early so Logan and I snuggled up on the couch and he watched Marie Antoinette with me. He laughed when I laughed. He clapped with they clapped. It made my heart melt.
He is starting to repeat things you say. Some of it is still pretty mumbled but there are usually a few words we understand. I'm sure we are the only ones that actually understand him, though. For instance, Chloe is Ki-ee. Drink is Dink. Choo (shoe), etc. While Chloe was at school today, Logan snuck into her room and played with her toys. He showed me a Barbie so I tried to get him to say Barbie. It came out Boobie.
We were playing outside earlier and Chloe found a caterpillar. She was enjoying it, touching it, trying to get it to climb on her finger. I thought it would be cute to show Logan. So I brought him over to see it. I showed him how to gently touch it with his finger. He looked at it, looked at me, said "Oooooh." Then SMASH! He whacked it with a rock.
Tonight I had taken the trash bag out of the can and had it ready to take to the garage. I wanted to put just a few more things in it so I didn't take it just yet. As I was walking back towards the kitchen, Logan came around the island dragging the trashbag, saying "tash." He then helped me "carry" it out to the garage. :)
He also is into putting on shoes. His, Chloe's, mine, doesn't matter. The look on his face when he puts them on is so priceless. He is so proud of himself for putting them on! Then he walks around the kitchen stomping as loudly as possible.
Ok, this is the last one, I promise- for now. During the day, he will wear my ipod and dance around the house. One day I will have to tape him dancing, because it the funniest dancing every! It doesn't matter how fast or slow the song is, he bounces, spins, and bobs his head the same on all of them.
Ok, thanks for letting me have my Mom Moment.
