A Much Needed Break!

Jeremy and I took a much needed break and went to Las Vegas for the week. It was nice to get away together. And Jeremy got to sleep in every day! We had a pretty relaxed schedule- there were a few things that we wanted to see and do. But other than that, we just did whatever we were in the mood to do. It was so nice to just go with the flow and not have to schedule around school, church, naps, kid activities! We shopped, ate and toured to our hearts' content!!!

We tried to get the Excalibur castle in the background, but never worked out for us. I kept waiting for giant puppets to pop out and start singing, like in Shrek!

Dinner one night at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville

One of my FAVORITE places in Vegas, Ethel's Chocolate Lounge. Not only are their chocolates yummy, but it's like going into a coffee shop. Only there's chocolate drinks & desserts.

Jean-Philippe Patisserie- This is the world's largest chocolate fountain. It runs from ceiling to floor with dark, milk and white chocolates.

Of course, we had to have desserts. He is a world famous chocolatier, afterall!
