I know my depth perception is a little off. I know this for fact because I run over curbs all the time! Jeremy gets onto me and is always telling me to pay attention. And I do pay attention, I just can't tell how close I am when making turns. But then the other day I realized just how bad I really am. Chloe and I were washing the car and I noticed how banged up and scratched our wheels really were on the right side. I told myself I would be much more careful! Later that same day Chloe and I headed to Costco. As I was driving in, I had to make a right hand turn to get to the parking lot. Apparently I took it a little too sharp- oops! I hit the curb- and the way it curved around, I couldn't seem to get off of it. So, our car was shaking as I'm trying to drive. In the backseat Chloe's eyes were huge, "Mommy, did you wreck our car?" "No, Sweetie. Mommy's just driving."

Jessi & Tayten's Visit

This is what it looke like every morning. The only thing you don't really see is Max jumping onto the air mattress with them. Chloe and Tayten got up long before everyone else and would entertain themselves.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the them. They were so content to sit on the bridge and play with sticks!

I have very few pictures with both of them looking at the camera at the same time. Or if they were, one smiled and one didn't.

Tayten was actually giving kisses to the plastic squirrel.

I had to put this one on here because it is too funny. It really looks like Chloe pushed him down and ran away. But Tayten was trying to run after her and he fell- on his own.

The four of us. Jeremy isn't in any of these pictures because he tried to work as much as possible while they were here :)

Jessi & Tayten out at Steve and Deena's.

It was nice to have my sister out here for a bit. The time went by so fast! I don't think she will be recovering from all the eating out that we did for quite a while. It didn't really work out for me to have food cooking in the house. So, we ate out A LOT!

I Miss Me!

I miss being me! I know that I am going through a lot of changes but I just want to be my old self again. It would be so nice to enjoy cooking . That was something I poured my heart into and I loved it so much. But right now it is all I can do just to go grocery shopping. And I miss desserts :( It is summer time. I should be eating strawberries and making strawberry shortcakes. And since I am at home during the day, I have the time to make cheesecakes. But I can't stomach the smell or the sight of it all. I am ready for the days when I can eat a meal based on what tastes good, not what is going to be easiest to throw up. Oh and to be able to go a full day without naps or crashing at 7:30 at night. Eventually I will have clothes that fit! Right now I have just enough of a bump that I have to unbutton my pants when I sit down but not enough to buy bigger clothes or even maternity clothes. I tried on some pants that were one size bigger, hoping that would work for now. Although I could sit down, the pants were too baggy in the legs and seat. I don't look pregnant, just bloated.
But on the plus side, my sister is coming to town on Monday so I will have a personal chef for a while. I think I am ready to play for a few days. And my nephew is coming!! He is the cutest guy ever. I know Chloe will have so much fun- she has been counting down the days.
Thanks for letting me whine~

Weekend Pics

It seems like every weekend we are at birthday parties! Here is one from last week. Chloe had lots of fun with the games. They had an egg race and everyone won a medal. But she was so proud of winning her medal!
They also had the cutes pull-string pinata. Instead of taking turns whacking it with a stick, it has ribbons at the bottom and you take turns pulling one. One of the ribbons releases the door on the bottom and all the stuff falls out. I was ready to take a picture of Chloe pulling the ribbon, but her ribbon opened it and in all the excitement, I forgot to take the picture!
I have Chloe so well trained! When she saw all the goodies, she backed away as all the kids rushed in. She came over to ask if she could have one, "just one, Mommy." Even though we don't really let her have candy, I let her pick up whatever she wanted. I'm such a good mom!

Things are going well here, just busy. It's hard to believe the summer is almost over. Oh! And Jeremy just got a new handgun! He's pretty excited about that. Maybe I'll take a picture and put him on here since he has very few pictures on the entire blog :)

Hide-N-Seek

Lately we have been playing a LOT of Hide-n-Seek. It is Chloe's new favorite game. Thank God!!!! We were getting really tired of Pretty, Pretty Princess! Chloe just loves it when Daddy plays Hide-n-Seek with her. She giggles nonstop. He has been teaching her all about hiding and finding "perfect" spots. I love watching them together. When I said that Chloe giggles nonstop, that includes while she is hiding, too. She will hide wherever Jeremy hid last and as soon as he says "Ready or not, here I come" Chloe laughs and giggles and yells back "Daddy, I'm in here." I know, I know. She hasn't quite got the full concept. But we still have lots of fun playing with her!
